Mr LP Lawrence is my computer teacher. He teaches us about things like E-mail and blogs. His lessons are very interesting.Too bad today is the last computer lesson with him. It is also his last day at school, too. He is going to retire. He has been in Malaysia for 7 years. He is retiring to go back to India and see his wife and child. Today is Thursday, August 30 and tomorrow is Merdeka. Mr Lawrence will be staying for a little while to celebrate Merdeka. A new teacher will take his place next week. Happy retirement Mr LP Lawrence!

Harry Potter is my favourite book series. J.K.Rowling is a brilliant author,too.Harry Potter’s last book coming out is old news. I only have the first two books, though I knowdead, dead and many other things because of gossip and the books. I will only get book three in October. But a friend’s mother has lent us a copy of the newest book.My father says that I can read it during the school holidays in two week’s time.I don’t know if I should be be happy or bored with nothing much new to read during the school holidays, which are one week long.

Never post ads. Post decent ads only. Some ads like movies are only for older people to watch. IF they are movies with an age limit, post it. For example, if a 11 year old went to watch a movie for 18 years old, they might get chased out. If they put age limits, they are just trying to help. That is why you should always post the age limit. Then people might scold you using e-mail. Some people who do not have their own blogs even try to post ads using comments. So, never post ads.

Flamethrowers & Net Language

Flame throwers are people who write bad things about themselves. They also can be called flame throwers if they write bad things about other people.They also can be called firewalls.They will not be called flamethrowers or firewalls if they do not post what they write. There are also many bad things that will happen to you if you continue writing like that. Your account may be frozen.Then you will not be able to access to your account.then if you wrote bad stuff about other people then they might write bad stuff about you and tease you. That would be a very bad thing to happen, right?

Net language: A DICTIONARY.
People used to write in full when internet was not popular. Now, internet is popular. So, now internet is popular, people use abbrivations. Here is a dictionary of them. And please remember, not all of them are here. They are AFAIK,CYA,GR8,BBL,IOW,SOC,BTF,POV,4 and 4M. They mean as far as I know,See ya,great, be back later, In other words, see you later,oh I see, By the way, point of view, for and from. BFN and B4N mean bye for now. That is the dictionary. To be tactful is to nicely approach someone.You can find out what that person likes or his or her hobbies. Then you can chat with that person easily.You can also praise the person. After a while, he or her will begin to follow you.

To bite your tongue in the internet is to mind what you say. It is not like biting your tongue in real life, with your teeth. You must bite your tongue while typing E-mail and posting comments.For example,while in anger you might type something bad and accidentally send it. That would be a mistake, am I right or wrong?

Do not type everything in uppercase. It would be considered rude, because it would seem like shouting online.You are supposed to use it to emphasize words, start names and sentences. You must never type for example, I AM COMING TO MALAYSIA should be I am coming to Malaysia. You would just need to put an exclamation mark at the back.

We must mind our language.While sending e-mail in anger you might write something bad. When the person recieves the e-mail he or she might not like you anymore. Then you might not have anymore online friends. You wouldn’t like that to happen, right?

To watch our words is to be careful so that we do not write anything bad. We must watch our words even in a private conversation. We must not say anything bad about anything or anyone.If you had posted it on the person’s blog ,the other person might see it and be angry. Then the same thing would happen as stated in mind our language would happen.

We must respect people confidentally. We can do it by not posting e-mail. We can only post e-mail on our blogs with the sender’s permission.Without their permission, it would be rude and may be an illegal breach of confidence.Then the person might not trust you anymore.

Don’t be so detailed. Keep the language simple.Do not use hard words These are difficult to understand.Avoid using too many smilies or faces.

Everyone makes spelling mistakes. People also make grammar mistakes Do not point them out. Do not do it especially if they are not writing in their first language. It will hurt their feelings.

Always type in plain text.Do not write in HMTL coding. Not everyone can understand it. Then they will not understand what you are typing. That is why we must always use plain text.

Warn if you might spoil a surprise. IT would not be nice.For example, you watched a football game live on TV. Your friend is waiting for the next day’s newspaper. It would not be nice if you told him, right?
